JOB OVERVIEW

A Jr. business analyst (JBA) is a member of a product development team who analyses the business domain documents its processes and systems, outlines business requirements, and matches a software business model with the software being built. Additionally, JBA works on user stories, provides mock-ups, validates functionality, and performs user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. Moreover, analysing consumer behaviour and industry trends, evaluating user feedback on our products, and find solutions for product defects; to ultimately achieve client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, needs, and requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements and propose innovative software solutions that align with their goals.
  • Create a comprehensive document that captures all relevant information about the system flow and functional requirements.
  • Include diagrams, flowcharts, or visual representations to illustrate the system flow.
  • Provide detailed descriptions for each functional requirement, including inputs, outputs, and expected behaviour.
  • Organize the documentation in a logical manner, allowing easy navigation and understanding.
  • Consider using appropriate documentation standards or templates for consistency and clarity.
  • Regularly update the documentation to reflect any changes or updates to the system.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and internal teams to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Create comprehensive and detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and measurable.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the feasibility and practicality of the proposed solutions.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and best practices, providing valuable insights for product enhancements.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and recommend process optimizations or system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios, validate software functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Assist in project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Assist the Associate Product manager in day-to-day activities
  • Assist the Customer Support team in providing backup and ensuring smooth delivery of enhancement requests from ideation to deployment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/MS Software Engineering /Computer Science /MBA.
  • 06 months – 1 year of experience. Relevant experience in a similar role and industry would be a plus.

SKILLS

  • Able to apply an understanding of applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, HL7).
  • Domain knowledge of the US- Healthcare Industry
  • Proven experience in Agile scrum methodology
  • Proficiency with project management tools, like Jira, Trello, Asana
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a target-oriented atmosphere
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete the project by meeting the deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and should be a good team player
  • Problem-Solving and strong Decision-Making skills
  • Proficient at multitasking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
